Add a client to a waitlist from the Waitlist Application
Add a client to a waitlist for Service
To W/L a client for service, you must have the following:
Be a member of a Team that uses Waitlist for Service
Use the right Referral Type (Set up for your team)
Use the right Referral Reason (Waitlist-Service)
- In the Referral Application, log the appropriate Referral Type with the appropriate Referral Reason and Priority (if applicable)
- Scroll down to the actions taken grid and click on Insert a new action and select ADD TO WAITLIST
- An Action entry window appears with the Date of action, Recorded by and Authorised by auto populated to the logged in user
- Click Accept Changes
- Select the appropriate waitlist from the Matching Waitlist picklist and click select
- The Wait list entry details window appears. Enter the following Waitlist Entry Details:
- Date Put onto W/L: The date the client is being added to the waitlist
- W/L Status: ON WAITING LIST-REGISTERED
- Reason on W/L: AWAITING SERVICE
- Priority: See your teams guidelines for Priority definitions
- Notes: Enter any transitory notes relating to the waitlist. NOTE: These should not include any clinical notes as they are not part of the clinical record. Enter any relevant clinical notes in casenotes.
7. Click Accept Changes and Save
8. The Referral Current status will now be updated to PASSED TO WAITLIST
Add a client to a waitlist from the Waitlist Application
- Click on the Waitlist Application, the Waitlist search criteria - entry window will appear:
2. Click Accept Changes or filter view necessary.
3. Click to select the appropriate Waitlist options tree on the left of the screen.
4. Click Insert a row in the Clients on Waitlist section. The Person Search window appears
5. The Person Search window appears. Search for your client using the PARIS Person Search Procedure and click select
6. The Client referrals window then appears. Select the appropriate waitlist referral and click select. (NOTE: You will not be able to add a client to a waitlist without a Waitlist referral. See Referral application.)
7. The Waitlist entry details window appears. Enter the following details:
- Date Put Onto W/L: The date the client is being added to the waitlist
- W/L Status: ON WAITING LIST-REGISTERED
- Reason on W/L: AWAITING SERVICE
- Priority: See your teams guidelines for Priority definitions
- Notes: Enter any transitory notes relating to the waitlist. NOTE: These should not include any clinical notes as they are not part of the clinical record. Enter any relevant clinical notes in casenotes.
8. Accept Changes and Save
Tabs
Most programs only complete information on the first tab. Check your program guidelines:
- Links: Is not being used at this time
- Acceptable Room Types: Check your team guidelines
- Suspension: Clients are suspended from the Waitlist when temporarily not "Assessed and Read to Go" as per program guidelines
- Provider Offer History: Displays a list of provider offers
- Status History: Is not be used at this time
Click Accept Changes and Save after entering all the Waitlist information
