Clients are suspended from a Waitlist when they are temporarily deemed not ready for
- placement in the Placement (Provider Offer) application
- service in the Waitlist-Service application.
Example: If your client is hospitalized in acute care, they should be suspended during acute episode.
1. Click on Waitlist Application.
2. Select the appropriate waitlist.
3. Click on client in the Clients on Wait List grid
4. Click Modify row

5. Click Suspension Tab at bottom of W/L Entry Details window
6. Click Insert a row in Suspension Details grid
- Reason for suspension: Select the appropriate Reason
- Suspended from: Enter date of suspension

8. Click 
9. Update the Current Location Grid if applicable. Current Location grid is in Clinical Summary and Central Index
- Remember to remove the suspension once the client is well again! See the Remove a Waitlist Suspension article
