For optimal performance the Display settings in Windows need to be set correctly for each computer accessing PARIS.
Improper settings can lead to unpredictable performance including but not limited to the following:
A black box instead of a logon screen
Blinking or flashing text
Improper registration or alignment of the mouse pointer / cursor
PARIS session appearing frozen
Follow the below steps to achieve the recommended setting:
1. Right click on the Windows desktop and select Display settings.
2. Set Scale and layout for each monitor to 100%.
3. Select the Display resolution for each monitor to one of the highlighted options and ensure that it is the same for all monitors connected to your computer.
The Display resolution selected will determine the text size displayed in Paris. You can experiment with different resolutions to find the one that suits you best but the resolution must be the same for all of the monitors connected to your computer.
