Enter a Case in Error
1. Select the case from the HIV Cases grid in the HIV Partners Search tile. For help searching for a specific case, please refer to the Search for HIV Case or Partners page for more details.
2. Double-click on the HIV case or click on Edit Care. It jumps to the HIV Partners Entry tile.
3. Click on the Entered In Error? Checkbox at the bottom of the HIV Cases section.
4. Click on Save . The case is marked as Entered in Error in the HIV Cases section. Case entered in error (and their associated partners) are read-only and cannot be modified.
5. To view the cases that have been entered in error, click on the More actions button in the HIV Partners Search tile. All cases entered in error now appear in the HIV Cases grid.
6. To hide the Cases entered in error, click on More actions, and then Hide errors.
Enter an Identified Partner in Error
1. Select the appropriate partner from the Identified Partners grid in the HIV Partners Entry tile. Click on Modify row.
2. In the “First Name” field, change the partner name to "ENTERED IN ERROR". Ensure all personally identifiable information is cleared, particularly from the "Partner Details" and "Additional Comments" fields.
3. Click on the “Entered In Error?” checkbox at the bottom of the window. Click on Accept Changes and Save. The row marked as entered in error is hidden by default. It is read-only and cannot be modified.
Enter an Anonymous Partner in Error
1. Select the appropriate grouping from the Anonymous Partners grid and click on Modify row.
2. In the “Name of Grouping” field, change group name to "ENTERED IN ERROR" and then ensure all personally identifiable information present is cleared, particularly from the "Additional Comments" fields.
3. Click on the “Entered In Error?” checkbox at the bottom of the window. Click on Accept Changes and Save. The row marked as entered in error is hidden by default. It is read-only and cannot be modified.
