




- % of Birth Weight lost only calculates if a birth weight was entered
- BMI will not calculate for persons under 2 years of age
- Entries made in metric automatically convert into standard measure and vice versa
- Percentiles automatically calculate based on predetermined growth chart standards and apply only to clients that fit within the age parameters for those growth charts
Add to Growth Chart
1. Click Insert a row and enter the following fields:
- Date Measured: Enter today’s date in (unless backdating an entry in that case press F4 to activate calendar). Age populates once entry window is accepted, based on date entered in Date field
- Weight and Height: May be entered in metric, or imperial. PARIS automatically converts the value into imperial and vice versa
- Head Circumference: Record as per clinical guidelines
- Waist and Hip: Record waist and hip measurements if ratio is required
- Weight Event: For clients less than or equal to 6 weeks - If the Birth Weight was recorded and ticked, a subsequent weight after birth will calculate % of Birth Weight Lost. Enter either BIRTH WEIGHT, HOSPITAL WEIGHT, or REPORTED WEIGHT.
- BMI and Waist-to-Hip Ratio: Auto-calculated after Waist and Hip measurements have been entered only if child is over 2 years old
Calculations: % Birth weight lost, BMI and Waist-to-hip Ratio are all autogenerated.
Percentiles (For children and youth <= 20 years old): Use Corrected Age? Growth calculations for premature babies.
2. Tick the tick box beside Use Corrected Age? to enter a corrected age. Corrected Age field will become mandatory, enter the Corrected Age in months:
- Birth to 36 months: Is default for children between 2-3 years. This can be changed to 2 to 20 Years
- BMI for Age: Is default for children over 2 years. This can be changed to Weight for length/Stature
- Percentiles: Auto-calculate upon Accept Changes
