1. In the Clinical Summary application, and the Weight an Growth Chart form click on 'Insert a row'
2. Click on the tick box beside Use Corrected Age and fill in the # Weeks Premature section.
3. Tick the tick box beside 'Use Corrected Age?' to enter a corrected age. Corrected Age field will become mandatory, enter the Corrected Age in months. Refer to the table below to calculate # of Weeks Premature:
- Birth to 36 months: Is default for children between 2-3 years. This can be changed to 2 to 20 Years
- BMI for Age: Is default for children over 2 years. This can be changed to Weight for length/Stature
- Percentiles: Auto-calculate upon Accept Changes
4. Press F12 to Save
NOTES:
- When “Use Corrected Age” section has been entered once, it is automatically ticked for subsequent rows and percentiles will calculate based on the corrected age.
- Any grid rows that are done prior to ticking “Use Corrected Age” section will not automatically calculate corrected age
- According to the WHO Growth Standards, percentiles will only be calculated once baby has reached 40 weeks gestational or original due date
- Use Corrected Age and # Weeks Premature will only auto fill until the client’s second birthday
- Do not use the PARIS growth chart report as values will not display correctly for premature infants. Manual plotting is required.
