Enter a new CRS Tool
1. Click Insert a row and the Risk Screen - entry window appears:
2. DO NOT COPY (The previous information will autopopulate into the new entry).
3. Enter the following fields:
- Recorded By: Autopopulates
- Team Name: Enter your team's name
- Date Recorded: Autopopulates
- Visit type: Autopopulates
- Review Date: Autopopulates
- Primary information: Autopopulates
NOTE: You can change any of this information as needed by clicking on the to activate the picklists beside any field.
4. Complete the grid entry. Click on the relevant tick boxes, add any comments as needed. Control Plan cannot accept any entries unless a Risk has been identified
WORKFLOW NOTE: DO NOT DELETE OTHER ENTRIES! Comments are entered reverse chronological (most recent at top). You MUST enter the date and write in your signature at the end of each entry. This keeps history and identifies entries over time.
5. If you identify a 'Risk' by ticking the R the Control Plan field is now bold and is mandatory to complete. NOTE: You must sign and date each control plan entry.
WORKFLOW NOTE: When a risk no long exists, you can untick the ‘R’. THIS MEANS THE CONTROL PLAN TEXT DISAPPEARS! The Control Plan now appears non-bold and empty. In those cases where you have ended a Risk, make an entry in the comments box explaining risk no longer relevant and why:
6. When you have ticked all the boxes and completed all control plans, the ‘Complete’ tick box at the bottom of the screen will autopopulate as ‘ticked’.
7. Click Accept Changes & F12 to Save. The grid entry then becomes ‘read only’.
WORKFLOW NOTE: If you have not completed the form, the ‘Complete’ tick box will not be ticked, and the form can be modified.
8. When you tick a ‘Risk’ and complete a Control Plan, an Alert is automatically entered in ‘Client Alerts’. When you untick the Risks, the Control Plan disappears and the Alert is automatically end-dated and goes into history.
When you review a client record and you see this, you know there is at least one risk and control plan identified; go to the client’s CRS to view the risks and control plans. DON’T enter notes in the ‘Reason’ area; the Screener has all the information.
COPYING A GRID ROW:
You can copy a Grid Row to a family member’s record if the family member has been added as an ‘Associated Person’ to the client, and the relationship type is ‘family’. For steps of how to do this, see “Copying a Community Risk Screen”.
