Enter a New Current Location
If entering a New Row Whose Start and/or End Dates Fall Between 2 existing Rows
Specific AOA/CC & TST Clinical Scenarios

Current Location is a grid in the Central Index Application. It records specific location where the client is. For example, the client may be admitted into the hospital. The current location can be set, without needing to change their address.

Enter a New Current Location

1. In the Central Index click on Address/ Locations in the Options Tree on the left hand side of the window.

2. Scroll down to the Current Location section and double-click on all existing grid rows to open and update their Valid To field(s) with the appropriate end-date(s).

3. Press F12 to Save.

4. Click Insert a row and the Current location - entry Window will appear:

5. Enter the following fields:

• Recorded By: The logged on users name is defaulted in
• Date Recorded: Today's date defaults in
• Team: Select the appropriate team
• Location Type: Click on the to launch the LOCATION TYPE lookup and use the Type and find to search and select the appropriate location type
• Valid From: Enter the date the current location is valid from

6. Click Accept Changes and Save.

If entering a New Row Whose Start and/or End Dates Fall Between 2 existing Rows

To add a location between two existing locations, you have to change the dates of the current location so that PARIS will let you add a date/location in a time that is already accounted for.

1. Modify the appropriate existing start and end dates

2. Click Accept Changes and F12 to Save.

3. Click on Insert a row and enter both a start and an end date.

4. Remove the end-date from the current (still a valid row).
