View Errors (Contacts)
As indicated by the cases section and search screen names, the TB tiles display active and completed cases from the past three years, based on the investigation start date. To access TB cases and associated contacts older than three years, please refer to the Reports section in TB Search and Entry for further details.
The column sorting can be changed by clicking on the different column headers in the grid, like all other PARIS grids. In addition, different filters can be applied to see completed cases, cases entered in error, and cases for the entire team.
By default, the TB Search grid displays active cases assigned to the logged-in user.
Search for a TB Case / Contact
1. Click on the Search menu in the TB Search tile.
2. In the Type & Find, enter the search parameter. The search function scans the following fields for all active and completed cases and their contacts with an investigation start date within the past three years.
Case: Status, Assigned To, Case ID, PARIS ID, Name (Last Name, First Name)
Contacts: PHN, Name (Last Name, First Name), DOB
3. If a case or contacts is found in the search, select the appropriate row. The selected case and contacts will appear in the application.
Show Active Cases for All Nurses
By default, the TB Search grid displays active cases assigned to the logged-in user. Click on the Show all nurses menu in the TB Search tile.
The Cases grid will now show the active cases for all CD nurses.
To show the active cases only for the log-in staff again, click on the Show login staff cases menu.
Show All Cases for Logged-in Nurse
By default, the TB Search grid displays active cases assigned to the logged-in user. Click on the Show all cases menu in the TB Search tile.
The Cases grid will now show the active and completed cases for the logged-in staff.
To show the active cases only for the log-in staff again, click on the Show active cases menu.
Show All Cases for All Nurses
By default, the TB Search grid displays active cases assigned to the logged-in user. Click on the Show all nurses menu and Show all cases menu the TB Search tile.
The Cases grid will display the active and completed cases for all CD nurses with an investigation start date within the past three years.
View Errors (Case)
1. By default, erroneous cases are hidden but they are viewable in the system. To view all erroneous case entries, click on More actions menu in the Cases section within the TB Search tile.
2. Select Show errors. All cases entered in error now appear in Cases section. The associated cases also appear.
3. To view details for a specific erroneous entry, double-click the row to navigate to the TB Entry tile or click on View details icon for the row.
To hide the cases entered in error again, click on the More actions menu in the Cases section. Select Hide errors. All cases entered in error will now be hidden.
View Errors (Contacts)
1. Since contacts are associated with cases, a case must first be searched in the TB Search tile to access the erroneous contacts.
2. To view the contact entered in error, click the More actions menu. Select Show errors.
3. To view details for a specific erroneous entry, double-click the case (not the contact) to navigate to the TB Entry tile, or click the View details menu for the contacts row. Please note that the View details menu displays only selected fields.
