Add Dissent Alert
Parents may dissent to any screening event or program. Adding a dissent to screening prevents the child from being eligible for screening to your program.
To enter a dissent:
1. Click on the Immunization Alerts Application
2. Expand the Suspensions grid and click Insert a row, Suspensions window appears
- Type: Select the appropriate Type from the fixed list
- Level: Select the appropriate Level from the fixed list
- From: Enter appropriate date
- Reason: Select Parental Dissent to Screening
3. Press enter and F12 to Save
4. Client won’t appear on campaign worksheets.
Dissent to Sharing of Results
Some parents may allow you to screen the child, but do not want the result of the screening made available to the school.
Adding a dissent to sharing does not remove the child from campaigns. The child remains eligible for screening.
1. Click on Immunization Alerts Application
2. Click Insert a row in the Immunization Alerts grid
- Antigen: Select All Antigens
- Alert Type: Select Screening Information
- Alert: Select Dissent to sharing info and the appropriate program
- From: Enter the appropriate date
- Authoriser Type: Defaults to logged in user
- Authoriser: Defaults to logged in user
3. Press enter and F12 to Save.
