Show Cases for all Staff
Show Completed Cases
View Errors
The Cases grid in the General CD Search application lists all of the active and completed general communicable disease cases for the Communicable Disease team. By default, the grid shows all the active cases assigned to the logged-in user, sorted by disease and then by investigation start date. The column sorting can be changed by clicking on the different column headers in the grid, like all other PARIS grids. In addition, different filters can be applied to see completed cases, cases entered in error, and cases for the entire team.
Search for a Case/Contact
1. Click on the Search button in General CD Search application.
2. In the Type & Find, type in the search parameter. The search functionality looks through the following fields of all active and completed cases and their contacts:
a. Case: Disease, PARIS ID, Name (Last Name, First Name), Investigation Start Date
b. Contact: Contact Name (Last Name, First Name)
c. Group: Group Name
3. If a case or contact is found in the search, select the appropriate row. The selected case and contact details will appear in the grids.
Show Cases for all Staff
1. Click on the Show all staff button in General CD Search application.
The Case grid will now show the active cases for all users.
2. To filter the list of active cases back to only the logged-in user’s cases, click on the Show login staff cases button.
Show Completed Cases
1. Click on the Show all cases button in General CD Search application.
All cases, active and completed, now appear in the Case grid.
2. To hide the completed cases, click on Show active cases.
The Case grid will now show the active cases.
View Errors
1. Click on the More actions button and then Show Errors in General CD Search application.
All cases marked as entered in error now appear in the Case grid.
2. To hide the cases entered in error, click on the More actions button and then Hide errors.
